| January 24, 2008 :: Dash Of Grey--- English adventure!!!!!! |
Dash Of Grey and Ruaidhri had a long adventure over xmas in the UK. The plan was to run in Lingfieid and then Wolferhampton and return to Kinsale in time for the festive season.The best made plans go wrong!!!!!. The first race in Lingfield was a fantastic effort coming in fourth beaten in total by 1/2 length.Next stop Wolferhampton. A foggy night meant an inspection but racing went ahead a little later than planned.Dash of grey looked magnificent in the parade ring and just as they were to leave the parade ring racing was abandoned!!!. A big decision had to be made to stay over the xmas or go home.Ruaidhri decided, as Dash of Grey was in such good form, to give up his xmas and stay. Dash of Grey ran on the 28th in wolferhampton and came a very creditable 2nd.The drama did not stop there and due to very bad weather and gale force winds Dash of Grey and Ruaidhri did not get home for another two days |
